About Dr. Spice

Welcome!

Hi, I'm Dr. Danielle Spice, the creator behind Science with Spice.

After getting my PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology from Western University in Canada, I've spent years now working at the forefront of biomedical innovation at biotech startups. But, I always loved teaching during my academic training and I missed teaching to smart, curious and fantastic people.

Because I love teaching so much I decided to start Science with Spice! Through short, spicy, science-explainer style videos I'm bringing my love of science to my followers on social media to connect with fellow science lovers of all walks of life.

My Mission

I want to inspire YOU to be curious and appreciate the cool, fun and incredible world around us - from the smallest protein doing work inside of your cells to how the planets move and everything in between.
